If you conduct business with international companies, either procuring items abroad or selling your products to foreign customers, you have an obligation to screen all parties to the transaction to ensure no party is listed on any U.S. Government restricted party lists. These lists contain both U.S. and foreign persons. The U.S. Government maintains several lists that we must check.

This webinar will provide a summary of those lists, methods to conduct restricted party screenings
(manually) and a short demo a software tool available for purchase called “ECScreening” providing you with an overview of the tool, the lists it checks, and how the tool will maintain records of those screenings.

Don’t get involved in a transaction that would be in violation of U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce, and the U.S. Department of Treasury - Office of Foreign Assets Control
violations. Fines can be hefty!
